About Makayla
I have a passion for science as it creates opportunities to engage and interact with the world around us. As a current undergraduate student, I understand the challenges that courses bring and have techniques to which allows students to study smarter and better understand the content. I currently have my Associate's degree in General Education and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Science Education. I have worked alongside youth through volunteer opportunities at Life.Church and in-classroom internships.
Throughout my experience in grade school, I loved having teachers that were passionate about their subject and wanted to share that passion with their students. Many high school teachers went further in investing in my life and became mentors. As I learned more and recognized my own passion in science, I knew I wanted to share it with others the way my teachers did with me.
Associate's Degree in General Education and pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Science Education.
