About George

Unique in many ways. One is that I'm full time in only self defense.

Training available most days and times.

Training in response to all types of people and needs.

Effective without conventional karate punching, kicking.

I love helping others become safer.

I love, really love helping people become and to feel safer. I love reality. They learn how to do it. This must work in real threats or I don't teach. It must work for the person "as they are".

I am a lifetime martial artist. I started very young and never stop learning and teaching.

I can be found on Facebook or a Google search for either Systema Colorado Springs or Borrelli Self Defense Colorado Springs.

I started in Judo with my father. He took me as an assistance to colleges where we taght women's self defense.

I am a senior martial artist, having trained for many decades.

I am a certified instructor in two martial arts.

I specialize in movement based avoidance and in special concepts to stop most any person.

About the lesson

We first talk where I try to get an understanding of the student's goals, needs, any special needs or requirements. I'd like to know what their concerns are so that I satisfy those needs.

I've worked with just about every type of student. Many have never done anything before. I've taught very young childrent all the way up to and including high ranking martial arts masters.

Most students looking for self defense get talked into training in a karate system where you essentially pay for belts. I've done it too. But much time is spent on their particular art and much of it isn't related to actual self defense.

I like to continue training myself and will till the end.

I really enjoyed sparring/fighting with my instructor in Russian martial arts.

Pricing is $20 per student per class when there is a group beign more than one.

For private it is $40 per class.

For rare students who want a lot of intense training, I negotiate a monthly rate that works for them.
