About Beatriz

I'm a Kids Can Sew® Licensed Teacher and I love sewing.

The Kids Can Sew® Curriculum is designed to teach kids a lifelong skill with easy and fun projects.

Progression: Students start in Level 1 and progress to the next level. Once level 3 is completed, they will have graduated from the Kids Can Sew program and will continue into simple commercial patterns. The fundamentals they learn in the workbooks will prepare each sewist for commercial patterns and give them a solid sewing foundation for life.

I enjoy seeing my students progress and when I see their proud faces after completing each project.

I have 2 years of experience teaching kids how to sew.

I started teaching when I wanted to make an extra income and I found the Kids Can Sew curriculum, which I thought was a great way to make money by teaching what I love doing.

I have been learning sewing on Youtube and sewing blogs and also took a sewing classes course.

I'm a Kids can Sew® Licensed Teacher, this curriculum allows me to use their materials and thought me how to properly teach students to sew.

About the lesson

The student will learn how to use a sewing machine, parts names and basic to advanced sewing skills using his/her Kids Can Sew® workbook and sewing pattern kit.

First, I will show the student how to use the sewing machine and sewing tools. The student will learn and practice different stitches.

Students 8 years and older, beginner level.

Don't be afraid of learning how to use the sewing machine, it's normal to be nervous at the beginning but after the first class you will feel more confident to do it.

Option 1. 4 Students per class: $75.00 Monthly payment

Option 2. Private Lesson: $95.00 Monthly payment.
