Make no mistake, this isn't a business in a formal sense to me, but something I enjoy teaching to absolutely anyone. As such, instruction is very flexible and I'm quite happy to take on groups (constrained by range rules regarding group size if applicable).

For in person instruction involving live fire, I'm willing to meet at most ranges (excluding private clubs requiring membership) and forest lands in the Denver area. In addition to the $20 fee, I do ask for range fee coverage. I can supply firearms at no cost, but do ask for ammunition to be purchased at the range of choice or discussed prior to meeting. It is highly recommended student owned firearms are used if available to maximize benefit of the instruction, but a wide variety of firearms are available to utilize if desired.

For virtual instruction, topics will be roughly identical to live fire options with reduced technique and habit correction components. The fee is the same ($20) for virtual instruction, which typically lasts 1.5hrs. It is highly recommended virtual participants utilize a prop or their own empty firearm.

Instruction typically lasts two hours, and covers safety, technique, firearms purchasing decision criteria, doctrine, and hands on instruction for live fire options.

Shotgun instruction is limited to in-person instruction only and tends to skeet and sporting clays disciplines.

Hours are 8am-8pm Fri-Sun, but of course are by appointment. I do have a career which can make weekday instruction difficult, but I'm open to discussing options case by case.

Details

Pricing is a flat 20$ across the board regardless of instruction format. Live fire is the flat fee+ cost of range passes (including range fees for the instructor) + cost of ammunition. Depending on caliber choice, the recommended 100 cartridge minimum (handguns and shotguns) would likely cost between 25$- 60$. Range fees are estimable at 20$ per person
