About Courtney
Each lesson is tailored specifically to each student.
I truly love being about to help students feel more confident, to build better technique, and to increase the health and longevity of their instrument.
I sing with the Atlanta Women's Chorus, and several of the members asked if I would consider teaching voice.
I have been singing since I was 5, performing since I was 9, an priviate study since I was 10. I have such with several wonderful choirs, including the Atlanta Women's Chorus. I hold a Bachelor's of Music in Voice Performance from Florida State University.

First, I sit down with each student for an interview where we discuss their music experience, vocal health, their goals, and what they are looking to get out of our lessons together.
Primarly women who are in their mid 20's and up, who have a musical background of some kind who really wanted to hone their skills, build confidence, and strengthen their technique.
My advice would be to make sure that the teacher truly wants to help you (the student) to reach YOUR goals, and not a cookie cutter set of ideals that do not really fit who you are, or who you want to become musically, professionally, and personally.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What do I want out of these lessons? Am I really willing to put in the time and effort it takes to make progress? How willing am I to stick with lessons when seems tideous? How sensative is the teacher to what my goals are? Is the teacher actually listening to me and taking to heart what I'm saying?
