About Yaevin

Yaevin is a Contemporary Private Vocal Instructor specializing in vocal health through the genres of Pop, R&B, Soul, Rock, and Musical Theatre. Teaching beginners to seasoned professionals, Yaevin designs her lessons around the foundation of healthy vocalization through proper technique, diet, and lifestyle as a result of her own experience with vocal injury.

Yaevin earned a Bachelors in Music from Berklee College of Music where she worked with some of the best vocal coaches in the country. She has also been teaching since she was a student at school.

About the lesson

First lessons consist of learning about the student's goals, musical history, and creative taste. The student will be asked to perform 1 or 2 prepared pieces acapella or with a track.

Yaevin teaches voice to all ages 6+ and to students of all levels.

Being a good singer is not all about having a great voice to begin with! Breath support, strength, vocal care, healthy lifestyle, diet, proper technique, all contribute to how you sound. Making the right lifestyle choices and building (and sticking) to a solid practice routine in order to master proper technique is key to finding your voice and improving as a vocalist!
