About Martha

Martha Gleason has been teaching voice for 18 years. She draws from a lifetime in the performing arts and vocal training arena. She enjoys working with all ages and skill levels and especially enjoys helping students overcome performance anxiety. Favorite voice models include Bel Canto, Estill and CCM. Martha is a member of NATS (The National Association of Teachers of Singing.) She is a winner of the prestigious Carol Burnett Music Theater Award (Los Angeles), the National Music Theater Award (San Francisco) and a National Scholarship Winner at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (New York City). She hold a degree in Theater from UCLA.

Martha is passionate about helping students find their voice and grow into their highest potential. She also loves working on the inner journey with voice students, helping them to turn performance anxiety into a powerful performance tool.

About the lesson

Singing lessons offered by Martha are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Newington. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
