About Deegan
Greetings, my name is Deegan Doucoure. As a person who has played from youth stages to club stages to high school and then collegiate soccer levels, I understand the necessary guidance for others to improve and implement their athletic abilities to a proper development. Having played soccer for over 10 years my knowledge and understanding of the game is significantly invaluable, and giving that knowledge to the youth is always something I value dearly. I have trained with youth with individual sessions or it being at local parks with vast amounts of students. Speaking languages varying from English, French, Spanish, and Bamileke(Cameroon dialect) I have no problem of having a communicative barrier and comprehending other needs and help. Not only training others for soccer sessions I only do personal training for folks seeking to get in shape and improve their physical state as a whole. So aiding others to be there best physical selves is what I always strive to accomplish. The way I try to accomplish that for others is being very patient, supportive, emotionally available, and being diligently strict in the sense of pushing them to an extent I know they can achieve with the appropriate approach.
Being a coach/training for almost 4 years the reasoning for my work being stand out is how I not only the best possible physical athlete resulted, but the improvement in their mental state in the sense of them gaining a resilient/never give up type mentality motivation. That is something that compels me to my work is seeing the growth of the players from a young age and seeing them improve their skills, mentality, maturity, and overall becoming a better person. Soccer is a game that is a universal language to those of love it, and with my training methods and experience they’ll find it fun, easy, and something that they never take for granted.
