About Ireland
I am a certified K-12 Spanish teacher in Michigan.
I was a long-term substitute teaching Spanish to middle schoolers during the start of 2020, however I was laid off due to the COVID-19 school closures.
I have experience teaching K-4th grade, as well as 7-10th grade. I spent the Fall 2019 semester teaching English in southern Spain, and had previously completed a study abroad program in Spain in 2016.
Standard Teaching Certificate for Michigan. I am qualified to teach K-12 Spanish.

I prefer to know ahead of time what students would like to work on, so I can brush up on my personal knowledge and give you the most thorough tutoring session possible.
I like to help students make connections between English and Spanish, so that they can greater understand and memorize different rules, concepts & words.
-Tell the teacher what your strengths and weaknesses are as a language learner, so that you can find out ahead of time if they might be a good match for you.
