About Hannah
I'm a graduate student at CU Boulder working towards an M.A. in Hispanic Linguistics so that I can be the best high school Spanish teacher I can be! I have a B.A. in Spanish Education with teaching certificates in K-12 Spanish and Secondary English. I'm currently taking clases to earn a TESOL certificate along with my M.A.
I taught high school Spanish for one year and absolutely loved it! Now, in grad school, I work as a TA and get to teach university-level Spanish classes to college students.
I am passionate about the Spanish language and cultures. I studied abroad to Spain where I enhanced my Spanish speaking abilities, and I am thrilled to now be in graduate school alongside many native speakers of Spanish. I enjoy tutoring because I have a passion for teaching young people and I love helping students reach their goals!
In high school and college, I knew I loved Spanish, but it wasn't until I started working with kids that I realized my passion for teaching. I have volunteered tutoring underpriveledged children, tutored in my community, babysat since I was 14, and worked as a full-time nanny every Summer for the past 6 years!
I absolutely love working with kids, especially within the context of learning a new language, reaching goals, and achieving academic success.
