About Suzan
With over 25 years of teaching, tutoring, and life coaching experience across grade levels at a local JK-12th grade school, I have a wealth of resources and creative solutions for all types of learning needs. It is my passion to empower children to discover how they learn best and to recognize their amazing talents and abilities. By tapping into each child's unique intelligence, as well as focusing on the development of the whole individual, I create a fun and nurturing learning environment. And with the use of goal setting, organized action plans, and proven strategies that work, learning is both fluid and stimulating. As a master level graduate from DePaul University and lifelong learner myself, I have deepened my knowledge of the science of learning through myriad courses, including executive functioning, ADHD, self regulation, sensory processing, mindfulness, and meditation. Please feel free to reach out to me at: suzanmorrison.com

Ms. Morrison has done so much for me in high school. She has always been there for me, made me laugh, and helped to calm me down. Her guidance is truly invaluable to me. Awesome tutor and teacher!
We appreciate everything that Suzan has done for our son. Her guidance and support for Max's academics has helped in such a significant way. It's been so wonderful to work with Suzan. We highly recommend her as a tutor.
Suzan Morrison has been a lifesaver for our daughter. Homework time is no longer a struggle! The insights she has gained from her will continue to help her for a lifetime! We are forever grateful.
Suzan Morrison is a gifted and passionate teacher, and I don't think that our son would have as much of a chance during high school without her care and guidance. We are extremely thankful that she has been his rock, someone that we know has looked out for him. We are relieved knowing that she is there for him when he needs it. Highly recommend her as a tutor!
Thanks to Ms. Morrison, I was able to realize how I learn best! I will miss working with her. I highly recommend her as a tutor!
Ms. Morrison is an awesome tutor. I understand Spanish so much more now because of her. The way she explains things just makes so much sense. Not to mention her sense of humor! I appreciate all of the times that she made everything so much less overwhelming!
Working with Ms. Morrison really kept me organized and focused in high school. I learned to prioritize and break down big projects into something that wasn't so overwhelming. I appreciate all of her help and highly recommend her!
Where to begin? The care, compassion, insights, and appreciation that Suzan has shown our son this year has made a huge difference in his (and our) life. She has provided a safe and supportive context for him to grow and adjust as a new student in middle school. We will be forever grateful to her for positively changing the trajectory of our boy's life.
