I am an English and Spanish teacher. I am from Colombia but I have been living in USA around 3 years. I worked almost three years as an English and Spanish teacher in Colombia. When I came to USA, I worked as an Au pair. I took care to 4 children and at the same time I taught Spanish to them. That was such a great experience to me.

I studied Foreign Languages. My experience as a English and Spanish teacher in Colombia was a great experience. I had an amazing relation with my students. You are going to have a fun Spanish lessons with me. You are going to learn a lot of vocabulary, grammar, writing, listening and also you will have the opportunity to speak with me in Spanish. Everything will be slowly so you would be able to express yourself. I am patience, tolerant, responsible and dedicated person.

My typical process for working with a new students will be using theory and practice. Theory, you are able to see a Syllabus where it explains what topics we are going to cover during the classes, so I would like to know first when the classes is going to be, how many classes the person is going to take during the month or weeks, and if this is going to be a short term or long term commitment; after that I can plan out my syllabus. Also my syllabus generally depends on the age of the student, but since you are a complete beginner, I treat the early lessons the same across all ages. Practice is more fun. I provide  mediums: worksheets, activities, games, exercises, theoretical activity, and various activities during the class. I provide the material through email if this is online classes. Homework is essential in the process learning, so of course I provide homework when necessary. Other material like workbooks and books, to start out they will not be needed, but depending on your rate of progression and how you feel about the homework/exercise load, we can revisit looking into extra materials.

I worked with children in kindergarten (3-6 years old),  elementary school (6-11 years old),middle school (11-14 years old) and high school (14-18 years old). Also I taught some people between 35 and 40 years old.

My advice to a student how is looking to hire a teacher is , the teacher must be responsible, respectful, patient, and committed to her/his work. A joyful teacher who throws all positive energy into his work and that the student feels that positive energy through him/her. The teacher has all your classes planned and all the material is accessible to the student.
