About Karla

19 years experience as a Translator / Interpreter - Educator

I tend to make the curriculum specific to the needs of my students. Why do you want to learn Spanish now? I use your interest and that knowledge to draw the lesson plans. Spanish is dynamic and fun. We will use apps and online curriculum as well as music and movies to learn Spanish.

I have been teaching religion for a few years already and I've been speaking Spanish all my life so I decided to provide conversational Spanish Lessons online.

I am a translator / Interpreter of English and Spanish and have been working as such for the last 17 years.

About the lesson

Have a get-to-know-you first lesson where they get to ask me questions, and in turn, I ask questions so we can base the material on topics of their interest.

I taught High school students and adults.

To look for someone that will have the patience to help you talk about your interest.

I worked with a young man that was having a hard time with Spanish and as we studied together he shared his love of photography with me and we found that we both liked photography and learned quite a bit about the subject together.
