About Selene

I've been a Spanish teacher since 2011 and my students describe my lessons as interactive, entertaining and fun. With my conversational techinques you'll be speaking the language the very first class!

I love what I do and that's what I show during my classes, I'm very patient with all my students and I'll make sure you enjoy the journey of learning a second language.

When I was studying to be a translator, I was given the opportunity to teach Literature to teenagers in High School, that was my first official teaching job, the experience was so rewarding that I knew I was meant to be a teacher, so I continued working in this field.

I studied Applied Linguistics for 5 years at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Mexico.

I've been an English and Spanish teacher for more than 6 years.

I've learnt different teaching techniques that have helped me identify what is best for each student.

About the lesson

When I first meet my students I try to find out what they like through questions so I can make the class interesting for them. I also ask about what they want to learn so I can tailor the class to their needs.

I've worked with 12 year olds and above.

I've also worked with adults (managers and directors from different companies in México).
