About Caity

I first started tutoring in college! My first tutoring students were for beginner Spanish classes. I have tutored college students, adults, and elementary-aged students in Spanish.

I am currently a Licensed Master's Social Worker with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish. I have experience tutoring Spanish beginners of all ages. In my undergrad, I was a teacher's assistant in beginning and intermediate Spanish classes. I have experience with homework-help as well as lesson planning for my students.

About the lesson

When working with a new student, I think it's important to get to know the student first! I love finding out about students' interests so we can incorporate those into the learning process. It's also important to know what the student's goals for tutoring are so that we can be on the same page when working toward success!

I have worked with elementary students, college students, and adults!

When looking to hire a teacher, I think it's important to look for a teacher who will work toward meeting your goals! Whether you are looking simply for homework-help or for someone who will do a deeper dive into content matter, it's important that you and your teacher/tutor vibe well together!
