About Michaela

I'm a college student who has had many years of experience working with children (babysitting, being an au pair overseas etc); my friends, both fellow college students and graduates who also have tutoring experience, and I created 'All-in-one tutoring' to deliver quality education to all. We can relate to older students because we are also learning new things everyday and can give study tips and tricks to help them along the way. We have fixed rates however, we can make exceptions if people need discounts due to financial reasons, because we feel that everyone that needs help should be granted it. We often make worksheets and study guides that my tutees can keep to work on between and after sessions.

We love tutoring because seeing a student's development is extremely rewarding. Growing up some of us had a really hard time grasping certain subjects but getting extra help gave us the practice and confidence that we needed to excel. We really enjoy tutoring because we feel like we're paying it forward. At the moment, Michaela, the head of AIOT is a student at the University of Southern California double-majoring in Philosophy, Politics and Law and Italian and is currently working towards her Teaching English qualification so she can also teach and tutor abroad. The rest of us are also attending university, or have graduated, with majors in Psychology, Philosophy, Health and Human Sciences, Global Studies, Sociology, Economics, English Literature, Math and Human Biology.

About the lesson

When working with a new student, building a rapport is of the utmost importance. Prior to any paid sessions, we like to meet with the students and parent(s) and get to know them in a setting that is relaxed and informal. We would then start working on a personalized plan for achieving their academic goals and tracking their progress along the way.

Great work from these girls! Both my older daughter, who is 17, and my youngest who is 9 needed help with Biology and Reading, respectively. After using all in one tutoring, there has been a dramatic change in their academic performance and confidence.

Michaela has tutored and babysat my children since she was 16 years old. She’s a bright and responsible girl and my sons responded to her teaching very well. Even when the boys would act up, she was patient and firm when needed. THANK YOU!

My 7 year old worked with Michaela for about 5 months and her progress overall was great. My daughter was falling behind the rest of her grade for reading, comprehension and English proficiency (it’s her second language). Michaela was extremely accommodating and lowered her rates when my husband was laid off during the lockdown last year. The only reason I can’t give her 5 stars is that she had to stop tutoring during her spring semester! I plan to use her again this summer .

We take into account the subject, the students age/grade, the duration of tutoring session, the gap between their academic starting point and their academic goal and many other variables to price tutoring sessions.
The average rate for a 45 minute session is $15 while the average rate for 90+ minute session is $25. Moreover, we always want to make these sessions as accessible as possible so if these prices are too much for your financial situation we often give discounts and can set up payment plans!
