About Yolanda

I’m a PhD in Education and I had been an elementary teacher in Argentina. I am a different teacher because i taught how to read and write in all levels. In the USA I taught at the Community College, Webster U and I retired from SLU and HSSU. I went with different groups to Argentina, Spain, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. We practice the language, took cooking and dances classes. I use music and interactive videos for my students.

I have the sane emotions when a 5 year old learn to read in Spanish it and older student tells me “now I get it”.

i used to teach Latin American culture so I add it as a special condiment to the lessons.

I was prepared to teach: I have a degree as Elementary School teacher.

I'm a PhD in Education and my thesis veas to Teach a Foreign Language in the schools of today. I had my own school in Argentina but in the USA I have taught in Elementary schools and university levels. I retired from SLU and Harris-Stowe State University. I teach at St Cecilia School and Academy (K-8).
