About Valentina

Here at Tina's English & Spanish course, we care about the student's understanding of the language. We focus not only on the grammar but also on the way of speaking.

The core of a language is a mixture of being able to speak it freely and to understand its grammar, that's why with our lessons we focus on the achievements of these two, making sure that throughout the path of learning we answer any question that the student may have.

Our passion is to teach because each language represents a different culture, and there's nothing better than getting to know all the cultures that fill the world.

I've always been interested in languages (I'm currently studying French and Italian), I believe it is an incredible way to connect with people, because sometimes things may get lost in translation, so there's nothing like speaking to someone in their native language. Somewhere along the way it struck me that to learn a language is a tremendously valuable skill to have, but to teach a language is an even more incredible gift to give, because through that teaching process you are teaching someone how to become a part of a culture and how to connect with people in deeper ways through communication.



I taught English as a Second Language at a high school and it was an amazing experience, I got to see different viewpoints from students, I got to understand their concerns about a second language, their tips to learn something faster, their opinions on how to go through a lesson, it was incredible.

Every person is unique, that's why I firmly believe that it is not only important but it is essential to understand the learning process of each student, some may be more inclined to learn things visually, or by reading them aloud, or by writing them down, it varies, and to be able to give a proper education on any language it's important to understand that.

That's why with every student I like to do a test to see what skills they are better at, which ones they need to reinforce, what makes them feel more comfortable when it comes to learning grammar, so they can acquire the language properly.



Teenagers mostly.



Be aware of why you want to learn a new language, what's your main goal, that way it will be easier for you to study the language.



Event-wise as to referring to all events worldwide, I'm very fond of the Carlos Cruz-Diez Foundation: It's an organization committed to preserving the artistic legacy of Cruz-Diez.

I'm fond of it because I'm deeply interested in culture and in art, those aspects connect us as humans, and few people have ever done such a good job at connecting us as humans through art as Cruz-Diez.
