About Damaris
I'm a Spanish native speaker who had some problems paying attention in a classroom and I think that the best way to learn a language is real live communication and talk one to one helps a lot.
I was a English teacher but I don't like how the people teach you to read or understand the grammar, thinking that the easy way to learn is memorize the words but they don't teach you fluency or things that you can use in a real conversation.

English
An initial conversation to evaluate the personal goals and the better ways to work with the students. Have a little diagnostic about what they know, why are they interested in learning and if they have previous knowledge about it.
I think the better way to learn a language is the continue exposition to it and starting with the vocabulary and basics, the same as we learned as child in our own language.
