About Carlos

Hola! I love being creative and finding the best ways to help others to learn. I believe that not everyone learns the same way and I like being open minded about adapting to students' learning styles.

I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and I enjoy reading and writing in Spanish (my native language). Additionally, I have a year of experience working as a trained science collegue tutor at Miracosta College located in Oceanside, CA.

A bit more about me: I have a bachelors degree in psycholgy and a master's in science in occupational therapy. I work as a full time travel occupational therapist with the geriatric population. In my spare time I like surfing and hiking.

I like to assess the needs and preferences of the student in advance so I can prepare for the session and be effective. I also like to inquire about the student's learning style as we all have different ways to learn.
