About MARTA
I am a very energetic and positive person. I have been teaching languages for more than 12 years, specialising in ESL and Spanish for foreign students. I will help you with your communicative skills in a very fruitful and fun way and I will cover all your needs and interests so you can feel confortable in the class.
My approach is mainly active and authentic, that means that the student will speak and practise for over 80% of the time. My lessons are very visual, I rely on technology and up-to-date materials.
My qualifications are:
- Masters Degree in Translation and Interpreting
- Masters Degree in Primary and Secondary Education
- CELTA for adult teaching.
My experience goes from elementary lessons to adult lessons in state and private schools as well as further education centres. The levels I have taught go from A1 to C2.
-
I started teaching in 2008 once I finished my degree in Translation altough I had given private lesson previously.
I have worked as a language teacher for over 12 years and I have two different Masters Degree in langages and education. I have attended many courses on ESL and different pedagogics for the classroom.

About the lesson
- All Levels

All languages in which the lesson is available :
English
The first step is to ask about himself/herself to get a bit of information. To ask why is he/she interested in learning another language and get a background on the student so I can get the level he/she can be.
Children 3-12
Teenagers 13-19
Adults 20-70
I would recommend to see the information on the teacher and the video, and follow his/her feelings. In addition, I would definately recommend an experienced and qualified teacher since the more experience you get, the more prepared to cope with different levels and the more ideas you get to approach a lesson.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should firslty feel comfortable with the teacher and think if the teacher brings confidence to talk about any needs, and let the teacher identify their needs too.
