About Rachel

¡Hola! My name is Rachel and I'm here to help you learn Spanish. Whether you consider yourself a beginner or advanced, I have the experience to help you become more comfortable reading, writing, listening to, and speaking Spanish. I have spent time abroad in Mexico, Colombia, and Peru. I am familiar with different typical accents, dialects, and customs found in Latin American countries.

I love learning and I love talking to people. It is incredible to see how differently each person learns, and I enjoy the challenge of working through questions with students and adapting to his/her form of learning best.

A Spanish speaker for almost 10 years, I have experience in teaching and tutoring Spanish students, as well as teaching ESL classes. I have 6 years of extensive grammar training. I worked in Mexico as a volunteer and I lived in Peru as a missionary and ESL teacher. I love and embrace the Hispanic culture. Let's chat!

About the lesson

I prefer to get to know my students! Let's discuss challenges you have in learning the material and create a personalized lesson. Weaknesses are just strengths that need a bit more time developing!

I enjoy working with student that have a desire to learn. I have worked with (and enjoy) every age, ranging from 7 years old, to young adults in college level Spanish classes, to adults of all ages.
