About Yarlin

I understand learning a language can be difficult. My goal is to make Spanish easy, understandable, and fun for you to learn. You will learn how to have a conversation in Spanish, and the basic fundamentals of this language. As you level up you will continue to grow your knowledge and be able to communicate through the beautiful language that is Spanish.

When I went into Mexico it was very hard for me to understand my family. I felt left out. That made me determined to learn Spanish. After two years I got the hang of it. As years went by I became fluent. It all takes time and patience. I've been in Honors Spanish for all of high school and plan on going to college in Mexico as well.

I studied in Mexico for two years and helped me with my Spanish. The household I'm in is all Spanish, so this helped progress as well. I volunteer at the hospital and I'm usually a translator for patients there.

About the lesson

Starting with beginners I will make sure to teach them everyday vocabulary along with daily used verbs. Building structure of sentences, although somewhat similar to English l, it can be hard when adding infinitives and appositives. Intermediate students will be given a small quiz so I myself can see how far along they are and what they need help in. Intermediate Spanish Will be able to understand the main ideas of clear and coherent text about topics you're familiar with. Since I'm currently in school I am not able to teach Advanced Spanish, since there are a lot of topics and subjects to cover.

I have tutored many students in my school. I've worked with beginners, intermediate, and some advanced. At the moment I have a small study group in my school with some freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. And we meet every two weeks. And work with them individually.

Look for someone that you feel comfortable with and that works at your pace. Your teacher should work on your needs. If you see yourself working with someone that is too fast paced or slow paced you will find yourself self getting irritated and bored. Which leads to you not learning to your full ability. Find someone who fits your need and works with you.
