About Kaya
I'm your go-to (Riverside based) college student tutor! I am a highschool graduate currently attending Cypress College for Court Reporting with one more year to complete my Associate's degree. My line of study includes mastering English grammar, reading, proofreading and of course lots of typing! My skills can help students build healthy studying habits and learn how to format assignments in Word amongst other applications. I am also fluent in Spanish meaning I am more than equipped to help those in highschool and younger to excel in their language classes.
I started by helping my siblings who are 14 and 15 years old and saw what big of a change they had with their school work once I helped them build habits of; organization, time management, and studying logs. From there, I've gained experience with younger children ranging from pre-K ages to middle school ages whilst working at a day care located in Anahiem,CA.
I am a highschool graduate that is currently enrolled in Cypress College as a part of their court reporting program which is very vigorous in English grammar, reading, writing, proofreading and of course typing. Every piece of material worked on in the program is done through Microsoft Word. I have one more year left to complete an Associates Degree.

I will typically ask the student to show me what type of work they are currently working on so that I know where to start. I will also ask the student and/or guardians where they would like to see improvement so that way we have something to strive for.
I have worked with children as young as 4 to blooming teenagers. I am always looking to work with all ages and backgrounds.
