About Isabella
I have been speaking Spanish since I was 13 years old. One third of my family lives in another country and speaks nothing but Spanish. That is why I wanted to learn the language in the first place. I did not grow up speaking the language, but I've always understood it because my parents have always spoken it, so it was easier for me to fully learn it as a young teenager. I live with two fluent Spanish speakers as well, so I know the native version of the language very well. However, I also took many Spanish classes, so I do also know how to teach a textbook version of the language.
I love being able to speak and understand Spanish because I use it so much in my everyday life, and I just want to be able to share that with others. Also, I believe everybody should learn another language, whether it is Spanish or not. It is so helpful and useful for traveling around the world. Not only that, it is also very, very helpful in the U.S. A lot of America speaks Spanish now, and having a Spanish background will help you get a good job in the future, too.

English
First, I like to find out what level they are at, whether it is early beginner or more advanced. If the student is brand new to the language, I start with greetings and introductions. Then, eventually, I ease into more vocabulary like nouns. After learning some vocabulary to put in sentences, we start easing into verbs and conjugations to complete the sentences.
