About Marissa
I am very passionate about teaching, as this has been my job for eight years (i.e., as a taekwondo instructor, camp counselor, behavioral therpist intern, and language tutor). I alter my teaching style to the needs of each individual student to promote sucessful learning and foster interest and fun during this learning process.
My favorite aspect of teaching is seeing success, as it is rewarding to see a child's happiness while learning, especially when the child is learning another language, which is such a valuable tool personally, culturally, and career-wise.
