About Andrea

I love teaching, guiding and living the learning process with my students. My goal is to help you understand, assimilate and put into practice, in a didactic, friendly and clear way, a language as expressive and complete as Spanish, my native language. With both young people and adults, I consider learning to be a creative, fun and consistent path. I look forward to being your teacher and being able to share my experience and direct knowledge with my mother tongue.

I started teaching when I finished college and while I was going to study at the university, I had the additional work of tutoring in order to pay for my studies. Later I was learning pedagogy and the experience with my students allowed me to improve my methods to personalize them and provide an enriching experience with information not only academic but also cultural and social.

I have taught children ages 6 to 13 at a local school. I have taught foreigners ages 60 and up and have a degree in communication. Being my native language, I have combined all my knowledge with communication and pedagogical strategies to be able to teach effectively and practically to my students of all ages.

About the lesson

First, I need to know the basis it has to be able to create a strategy to follow to meet the goals that the student has. The improvement in a language will always depend to a large extent on the constancy in the practice of it, for which after evaluating the student, I expose what we can achieve in the time that he or she has designated and readjust the goals. So the results are real.

I have worked with children, youth and adults as well as seniors.

My advice is related to the cultural part that a teacher can add to you, since the Spanish language is very rich in variety depending on its location and in order to understand it better, even in its verbal part, it is excellent to have the cultural support that it can provide you. your teacher. Personally, this is what I like to add to my classes to provide context and broaden the student experience.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
You must think about your goals and the time you are going to dedicate to your learning. Like everything in life, the more time you dedicate, the more experience you develop and in the case of the language, you gain more fluency in speaking, writing, listening, but above all thinking in that language.
