I introduce myself and my goals for him/her. We start by naming what he/she doesn't know/understand and we keep going from there until we are sure that he/she got it.
I worked with students who struggle in elementary school, middle school, and high school
I would say that you should try to find someone who does not only make you do the work but also works with you throughout the way.
I am part of the Spanish Club at St. Edward's University and we recently had a bake sale
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Ask yourself what you don't understand and what you want to learn more about.
