About Ana
Being bilingual is becoming a more desirable skill for professionals of the future. Spanish is the 2nd most spoken language in the Unites States and thus one of the most useful to learn. Spanish was my first language and learning English helped me develop and understand techniques to learning a new language. My service will be to the student’s specific needs. I strive to meet my student’s language goals. My goal is to nurture your desire to learn Spanish by making it a fun and enjoyable experience. We will focus on comprehension, pronounciation and practice! I have taught both children and adults at different levels.
I am passionate to teach those who have an interest in speaking Spanish. I enjoy teaching adults just as much as I enjoy teaching children.
I started while I was in high school helping non native speakers study for their Spanish tests.
Spanish is my first language, I was born in El Salvador and moved to the states when I was 10 years old. I am fluent, can read and write in Spanish. I studied Spanish up to a 12th grade level, Spanish literature. I have experience tutoring students in begginer levels as well as tutoring native speakers with Spanish grammar. I have also worked in translating resumes in the past.

First we start with goals, what does the student hope to accomplish. Is it to prepare or get ahead in your Spanish class at school or is this a new hobbie and we plan from there.
Mostly adults who are new to Spanish followed by teaching reading and writing to fluent Spanish speaking children.
