About Margaret

Hello! My name is Margaret and I am passionate about teaching Spanish and helping others learn the language. I speak fluently, and have spoken Spanish regularly throughout high school and in college. I am excited to help you master the language and succeed in Spanish language classes!

I have always had a passion for Spanish, and I am grateful for the amazing teachers that I have had that have given me a solid foundation in the language. Because of this, I wanted to help give others a solid foundation and encourage them in their study of the language.

I took Spanish for 8 years before college and loved it! I am also studying Spanish Language and Culture at university, and I have spend time living in both Costa Rica and Mexico.

About the lesson

I like to understand exactly what my students are trying to understand in order to provide them with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed. Before I start to help, I make sure I understand exactly what my students need help with.

I have worked mostly with high school and college students, with a few younger middle school students as well.

I would look for a teacher that is enthusiastic about the language, willing to listen to your exact needs, and a flexible teaching style - all students learn differently, and teachers should adapt to that.
