About Aviva
I graduated from Vassar College in 2018 with a degree in Hispanic Studies. I then received a Fulbright grant to work as an English teaching assistant in Colombia. During my experience with Fulbright, I taught at the National University of Colombia and the National Training Sevice of Colombia.
My experience has given me the opportunity to hone my Spanish abilities as well as my skills as a language teacher. I am available to help students understand grammatical concepts or practice their conversational skills.
I have a bachelors degree from Vassar College in Hispanic studies. I spent 2 years teaching English in Colombia, and this summer I will begin my masters degree at Johns Hopkins University in order to become a certified secondary literacy teacher.

In order to best help my students, I like to have an idea of their level and needs when we begin. I suggest that you think of specific goals and areas that you would like to focus on.
I have worked with a range of students, from pre-schoolers to retired adults. I have helped engineering students revise their doctorate theses and taught hairdressing trainees salon specific vocabulary. I love coming up with creative strategies to fit the needs of a variety of students.
