About Sarah
I am a neurodivergent special educator on a mission to help struggling Neurodivergent students to get on track using a neuro-affirming approach. I also specialize in twice exceptionality and can also take on gifted students who need more of a challenge. I have been a certified special educator in the state of Maryland for almost 5 years. I have over 11 years total experience working with students with special needs. Most of my experience is with high school age students, but I have also had experience with middle and upper elementary students. I also have a year of online tutoring experience with Wyzant. I believe everyone can learn and a lot of times we just need a different teaching approach. Accepting students with or without disabilities. Neurotypes/disabilities that we specifically specialize in is autism, ADHD, people with mental health challenges including trauma, dyslexia and other specific learning disabilities, gifted and talented, and twice exceptionality (people who are both gifted and have some sort of disability). We currently have two neurodivergent tutors available!
