About Kyra
Hi there! I am looking to help families K-6 as students transition to remote learning. I can help in any subject. Also, I am a certified Speech Therapist Assistant and could practice materials student is working on in Speech Therapy. I also have extensive experience with working with individuals with special needs. I am graduate for CU Boulder with a degree in Speech Language Hearing Sciences and a minor in Education.

Building rapport with the student is important and learning what works best for the student (i.e. visual, auditory...) Once I have learned what works well, we will work through the material with strategies to best support the student.
I have worked with a range of students K-12. Being an education minor, I have student taught lessons in many settings one including a 5th grade class. I tutored at Boulder High School in homework assistance. I also interned an elementary school speech therapist last semester leading lessons grades K-5 as well as working with Significant Support Needs.
