About Ruth

I am a certified Special Education Teacher in Indiana and Illinois, with experience teaching in both general education and special education. I have worked as a general ed teacher, as a special ed teacher in a self contained ASD classroom, and I currently work as a special services (resource) teacher in my local school district. I have 9+ years of full time experience in addition to part-time and tutoring experience. I can help with evidence-based language arts and math tutoring. I'm most comfortable working with kindergarten through 5th grade students, but I'm willing to work with other ages on a case-by-case basis. I am willing to drive to your home for tutoring sessions, meet at a library or tutor online. I am happy to work with students of varying ability levels. I'm also comfortable working with small groups of students with similar ability levels.

Special needs - add lessons offered by Ruth are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Westfield. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
