I believe every student learns differently, so my tutoring approach is personalized based on their needs and pace. I focus on building a strong foundation in key concepts before moving on to more complex problem-solving. I use real SPM past year questions, visual aids, and step-by-step explanations to help students fully understand the "why" behind each solution, not just memorize formulas.
A typical lesson lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student's focus and progress. I always start by reviewing previous topics to reinforce learning, then introduce new material, followed by guided practice and Q&A.
I have experience teaching SPM Mathematics to both lower and upper secondary students, helping them improve their grades and gain confidence in tackling exams. I'm familiar with the current syllabus and exam formats, and I often provide tips and shortcuts to solve problems more efficiently.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school students (Form 4 & Form 5) preparing for their SPM exams, especially those who want to strengthen their understanding or need help catching up.
