About Caprianna
Swimming can be daunting to some. I understand that inexperienced swimmers can be afraid of the water and I know how to help others become friends with what they are afraid of - swimming!
I have experience working with infants all the way to adults. I love the water, and enjoy helping others love it too and learn to be safe. I also teach more experienced swimmers on technique.
I am lifeguard and CPR certified. I have competitively swam for six years and played water polo for a few years at Woodside High School. I am also a current coach for kids entering swim team.
I deeply enjoy helping others overcome fear of the water and further down the road helping improve swimmers' techniques. The competitive aspect of swimming is a love of mine but so is enjoying the sport as a simple exercise. I love that swimming is a low-impact sport that anybody can learn and even help those who are injured get back into shape.

I like to ask the student or the parent what their goal is in swimming and what they'd like to work on. The beginning of a new relationship with a student is an exciting time to get to build a trust and a friendship, and for me to see what to work on.
