About Cara
I am an experienced college senior looking to help my students improve their skills in all aspects. I enjoy working with children and take a progressive interest in their developement as an individual as well as in their field of study. I've been teaching swim lessons to children and adults of all ages for 5 years, and have been providing writing tutoring for 2 years while in school. I am experienced in theater and have had a passion for acting since middle school.
Swim Instructing
I've been working with children and adults of all ages in the water since 2013 at my local YMCA. I also have experience in stroke development for the more experienced swimmer.
Acting Lessons
I have taken many college level theater classes as well as had an interest in theater since middle school. This interest makes me a good candiate to help a beginner actor develop important skills for the stage.
Writing Tutor
Since the beginning of my college career I've been helping peers edit and write papers for their classes. I strive not only to help write an excellent paper but to also teach the rules of writing to my students so they can walk away witrh more skills and knowledge on writing effectively.

I typically like to take some time in the beginning of the lesson to get to know the student and their personal goals as they relate to the lesson. I also like to speak to the parent of guardian, if the student is a child, to understand their goals for their child.
