In his first hours of life, Lucas was brought to the ocean. Growing up water sports, especially swimming have been a cornerstone in his life. He became skillful in the water enjoying professional swimming, SCUBA diving, snorkeling, surfing, white water rafting and kayaking. On land he's a runner, rock climber, kung fu artist, bjj practictioner, cyclist, and yogi.

His journey to swimming instruction began in 2006 while life guarding for a couple lakes in Southern California. Lucas started teaching swimming as a hobby and it quickly turned into a job that lasted throughout college. Later, teaching swimming would develop into his first business in the SF Bay Area. He went on to graduate in business administration and management from San Jose State. Then traveled the world seeking out new techniques and certifications in swimming from other countries. In 2019, he decided to depart SF and make San Diego his new home. Upon doing so, a love of teaching swimming was reignited. A strong desire to provide the best swimming lessons and a lack of well designed swim programs led to the creation of Pro Swim Lessons.

Pro swim lessons is a provider of private and semi private swim instruction at client-selected home and community pools. Our mission is to make learning to swim convenient, fast, fun and hassle-free

Pro Swim Lessons specialize in highly-effective private at-home swim lessons for learners ages 3 to adults, bringing top-notch swim instructors to the pool of your choice. These Pro Swim Instructors are experienced professionals who have passed our extensive interview process

Swim instruction can begin as early as 6 months of age through adults, with guaranteed results for swimmers 3 and older. Our private swim classes allow the instructor to individualize each lesson to meet the student’s particular needs and special abilities. Our instructors provide private swim classes for kids and adults at your home or community pool.

Pro Swim Lessons deliver results in weeks, not months or years, through patient instruction in private lessons, using methods that allow kids to learn to be safer in and around the water while still having fun and enjoying the experience.

About the lesson

Students of all ages, levels and abilities. I have specialized classes for those with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, pregnancy and injury recovery.

Look for someone with experience, dedication for their students, and a passion of aquatics.
