About Wan Muhd Khairi

Hello! I am a Psychology graduate with a Second Class Upper Honors and currently pursuing a Master of Counseling at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. Alongside my academic background, I have experience as an Academic Tutor, Learning and Development professional, and trainer, where I have taught students, facilitated workshops, and coached learners from diverse backgrounds.

I believe every student has the ability to succeed when they receive the right guidance and support. My passion for teaching comes from seeing students grow in confidence, develop stronger problem solving skills, and achieve their academic goals. Rather than simply helping students memorize answers, I focus on building a strong understanding of concepts and encouraging independent thinking.

My background in psychology allows me to recognize different learning styles and adapt my teaching approach to suit each student's individual needs. I strive to create a supportive, engaging, and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and continuously improving. My goal is not only to help students achieve better results but also to develop confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

About the lesson

Learning is not about memorising facts. It is about building understanding, confidence, and the ability to solve problems independently. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand concepts rather than simply preparing them to answer examination questions.

I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and am currently pursuing a Master of Counselling. My background allows me to understand different learning styles and adapt each lesson to suit the individual student. Whether a student needs extra support, wants to improve examination performance, or aims to strengthen their foundation, I create a structured learning plan based on their goals.

I teach Mathematics and Bahasa Malaysia for primary and secondary school students, as well as Basic English for primary students. Lessons can include homework guidance, examination preparation, concept reinforcement, and study strategies. I simplify difficult topics using practical examples, visual explanations, and step by step problem solving to help students gain confidence and develop lasting understanding.

Each lesson is interactive, personalised, and progress focused. I regularly review a student's understanding, provide constructive feedback, and adjust the pace to ensure they continue improving. My goal is not only to help students achieve better academic results but also to develop confidence, independent learning skills, and a positive attitude towards learning.
