About Mercy
I'm Mercy, and my journey into teaching grew out of a genuine love for helping others understand things that once felt difficult. With a background in Engineering and hands-on experience across research, tutoring, and administrative work, I've come to see that every student learns differently, and my job is to find the approach that works for them. I teach because I remember what it felt like to finally "get" a concept after struggling with it, and I want to give my students that same moment of clarity. For me, tutoring isn't just about passing exams; it's about building confidence in Math that students can carry with them long after our lessons end.

Lessons typically run 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the student's pace and topic. As a TEFL-certified tutor with a background in Engineering from FUTA, Mercy combines strong subject knowledge with clear, patient communication. Her lessons are designed for primary and secondary school students, from those building foundational number skills to those preparing for exams like WAEC and JAMB.
