About Shiva
I have worked with children, youth and adult tutoring and coaching for a number of years.
To see people advance and gain confidence and to be part of their journey, brings a great deal of joy . My students were adults who needed a GCSE in maths to start a university course, students preparing for 11 plus exams and young girls and boys going through their GCSE.
I have worked with groups as well as individuals and have a DBS.

I have a degree and a post graduate diploma with years of experience in tutoring maths, information technology and other subjects, both online and in person.
As the first step, I run an informal test to assess the student's level of knowledge and areas of weakness.
Using creative methods, each area is then taught to help the student gain a deep understanding of the subject as well as the the confidence to solve any problem in that area.
The duration of each lesson is between one to two hours depending on the student.
I teach maths for all levels up to and including GCSE.
