About Brian

My name is Brian S. (concealed information), I have been teaching tennis for 25 years. I have run programs at numerous locations including Caswell Tennis Center and Travis Country Hoa.. I have extensive detailed experience teaching all levels and ages. If needed I have recent and current references. Certified by the USPTA in 1999. Received Certificate of Congratulations award from the city of Austin for taking kids from south Austin neighborhoods to the JTT junior Olympic Final. As a junior coach 23 former students have become super champ level and as an adult team tennis coach, I have coached 10 + WTTA championship teams in all divisions. As a player I achieved 6.0 level by winning a men's open level sectional major zone. I can be reached at (concealed information) I will be serious about you getting better, at the same time we are still going to laugh and have some fun.

I started as a team captian in Men's open leagues. One of the players who was Manager at a local city tennis center asked if I would try starting a Junior Program.

I have been certified by the United States Professional Tennis Associtation in 1999. I have been certified to teach Quick Start. As a player I won a Texas Section Adult Major Zone.

About the lesson

I like to find out how long and how often they play. What is there goal in tennis?

I have extensive detailed experience in teaching all ages and levels of club tennis.

Have long terms goals and at the same time be willing to take baby steps. Be serious about improving and have fun.

Attending a recent college signing of a former student.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Look for a coach with experience, some former great players have little coaching experience. Ask, how many students have you taught? How long have you been teaching? Do you have recent references?
