About Sue

I have been an avid 4.5 (A level) tennis player for many years. I have been officiating college tennis at Cal Poly and UCSB the past 6 years, as well as working in SB and SLO County working many junior tournaments. At the moment, I mostly teach juniors and players who want to learn the best sport there is. I am very very passionate about tennis and want to grow this sport in my community. Call or text me anytime at (concealed information) Thank you, Sue

I LOVE TENNIS! I love helping people improve their strokes and be as passionate about tennis as I am. When I played on Cuesta College tennis team in my early 20s, i thoroughly loved the competition, and after I retired from my secretary/receptionist position with a state agency, I devoted all my time to playing, teaching and officiating tennis. I am required to pass 2 separate tests every year to maintain my officiating certification. Since i started officiating in 2014, I did alot of clinics to improve my skills, as well as watching the Tennis Channel religiously to improve my officiating skills. I continue to officiate to stay in the game of tennis and to watch some amazing athletes while at work.

I am a USTA and ITA certified tennis official and have worked many collegiate matches with Div. 1 and Div. 3 teams in California, as well as many junior matches. I am passionate about tennis and was the No. 1 singles player on Cuesta College women's tennis team for 2 years in 1975-76.
