About Maddy

Hi Everyone! Please email me at (concealed information) with any inquiries/interest of lessons or text/call (concealed information)! I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old, and the rest was history! I competed in tennis tournaments my entire childhood, spending most of my days grinding it out on the court, mastering my Backhand Slice and Lefty Down-the-Line Serve! In high school I began teaching lessons to 10 & Unders and shortly thereafter adults once I obtained my PTR Certification in Naples, FL (Professional Tennis Registry). While in college at Emory University, I taught children the ages of 4-16 and adults at country clubs, summer camps, adult clinics, you name it! I also just started law school (remote due to Covid!) I love the game, I love to teach--and I'd love to introduce you to my one true love: TENNIS! Let's have some fun, break a sweat and learn the game together. You won't regret it. Whether you want to hit for fun or start competition, I'll be with you every step of the way.

I grew up competing as a USTA Junior until college. I lived in a tennis family, where my twin brother also competed, and my father trained me my whole life on the court. He also taught me to dream big off the court! I am PTR Certified so I am fully, if not MORE, than equipped to help you become the best tennis player you can be! Be prepared :)

About the lesson

Every lesson begins differently with every student! No single student of mine is the same, so my approach is individualized. However, it's guaranteed to be fun and goal-focused. Warm-up is key, and the warm-up will consist of safe movement and ball-racquet handling skills. Depending on my student's experience, we'll dive into groundstrokes, some mini-tennis....no matter what it's a blast :)
