About Alli

I have been playing tennis for 18 years. Throughout those 18 years I have had three different coaches that inspired me to pass on their teachings to the new generation.

These coaches led me to success in my junior years where I acquired 101 medals/trophies and during my USTA career I reached Super Champ level (highest competitive level).

After high school I went on to play college tennis at Texas Lutheran University where I played top of the line all four years. I received three all-conference teams awards (highest award) and at the end of my senior year I was the third woman in TLU history to have 100 career wins (this includes singles and doubles).

I look forward to transferring my extensive tennis knowledge to the new generation waiting to learn and succeed!

Locally here in Rockport. I teach three kids right now weekly.

As I said in my introduction, I have been playing for 17 years and I’ve had many coaches that led me to success, now I would like the opportunity to pass on my knowledge.

About the lesson

I start by assessing the student’s ability currently and then I start from the bottom and begin to technically correct their form on each particular stroke before I dive into stradegy and match play.

I’ve worked with middle school and high school kids. My preference however are kids that are not beginners rather kids that are hungry to improve their strokes and their match play skills.

Make sure that the teacher knows how to do the skill. A lot of people can’t play so they teach. I think it’s very important that the teacher can excel at the skill above and beyond expectations to be able to help the student.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Are the students serious about learning. Are they going to take this seriously and have the drive to learn and improve.
