About Steven

Hello. My name is Steven Campbell. I have a Bachelors degree in Mueic Education from the State University of New York at Fredonia. I am the high school orchestra director in the city of Chesapeake for which I have been teaching for 10 years. I have been playing the violin, viola, and cello for over 25 years and I am currently accepting new beginner and intermediate students on violin, viola, and cello.

Private lessons give developing students the opportunity to receive the one on one attention they need that is often difficult to get in a orchestra classroom with 40+ students.

I offer a positive and encouraging approach to teaching people how to play an instrument. If you or your child want to learn how to play the violin, viola, or cello, please don't hesitate to contact me with any comments or questions.

Lessons are held at my residence in the Greenbrier/Great Bridge area of Chesapeake. Lessons are $25 for a 30 minute lesson and $50 for an hour lesson. Thanks so much for your time and consideration
