Welcome to Krisztina Kiss Violin/Viola Lessons, where personalized instruction meets musical excellence. Located in Fanwood, NJ, I am dedicated to nurturing your passion for music through tailored violin, viola and music theory lessons. With a focus on individual strengths and goals, my teaching approach ensures a comprehensive understanding of music, fostering both technical skills and artistic expression. Whether you're a beginner or seeking to refine your talents, I am here to guide you on your musical journey with expertise and enthusiasm.
I have 15 years of experience in teaching, my youngest student was only 5 years old and my oldest is 82 years old. I am also an active performer, I travelled and performed internationally, the most notable venues such as: Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center Stages, Queen Elizabeth Hall, English National Ballet.
I finished my Masters in Music in Hungary and continued my education with a professional studies diploma program in New York City with Cynthia Phelps from the New York Philharmonic. My mentor to this day is Garrett Fischbach from the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.
I am playing multiple genres and I love to teach my students their favorite songs along with the songs and exercises that they need for their musical growth.
