About Colin
Hi, my name is Colin Choi, and I am a varsity outside hitter for Huntington Beach High School and Team Rockstar Volleyball Club. I have been playing competitive volleyball since the age of 13 and have trained and competed against some of the top players and teams in the nation.
As a 5’11” outside hitter, I earned starting positions at both the high school and club levels by developing strong all-around skills, including hitting, passing, defense, ball control, and volleyball IQ. Through years of training, film study, strength and conditioning, and high-level competition, I have learned what it takes to compete at an elite level.
My accomplishments include:
2026 Huntington Beach High School Team Captain
2026 All-League First Team
2026 Sunset League Champion
2026 AVCA Boys High School All-America Watch List
2025 CIF SoCal Regional Finalist
2025 CIF Southern Section Division I Finalist
2025 Sunset League Champion
2025 All-League Second Team
2025 AVCA High Risers List Recognition
2024 All-League Honorable Mention
Multiple Open Division All-Tournament Team selections
AAU Nationals Top 10 Finish in the Open Division
USA Volleyball NTDP Invitee (Colorado Springs, Anaheim, Maryland, and Manhattan Beach Training Series)
Magna Cum Laude graduate with a 4.55 GPA
I offer volleyball lessons focused on skill development, technique, volleyball IQ, confidence, and overall game improvement. Whether you are new to volleyball or looking to compete at a higher level, I am passionate about helping athletes grow and reach their full potential.
