About Ruby
Hi, I’m Ruby! I’m a passionate and supportive volleyball coach with 10+ years of playing and 3+ years of coaching experience. I played from 6th grade through college, including six years of club volleyball, and continued playing recreationally in college. My primary position was middle blocker, but I have experience with all areas of the game.
I’ve coached a variety of age groups, including a 13U club travel team, as well as 6th and 7th grade teams. I love working with athletes of all skill levels—from beginners learning the basics to players looking to improve their technique, positioning, and overall game understanding.
My coaching style is positive, patient, and encouraging. I focus on building confidence, making learning fun, and helping each player improve at their own pace while still challenging them to grow.
