About Asyraf
My name is Asyraf Zulkalnain, I am a full-time Software Engineer, working with a Malaysian company. I am passionate about teaching since I was in high school, and I did a ton of tutoring and teaching as a part-timer. The reason why is because I love to give great values to students, and educate people more, as they go on they will become great people as well. Usually I will try to understand the students before the session: - Assess the current level of students' understanding - Learning style (visual, verbal or hands-on) - Strength and weak areas - Goals (Exam, assignment, skill mastery) I will also emphasize that understanding is the key, not memorization. For the environment, students should be comfortable being wrong, and always feel they want to ask questions and adapt quickly. Typical length: Usually from 1 hour to 2 hours (depending on the material) Experience as tutor: I had experience tutoring as a part-time after I graduated with my Degree, and my students are from SPM levels. My lesson for: SPM students, high school students. If required, I also can teach primary school subjects.
